Liza Koch’s journey to becoming a seasoned attorney reflects a blend of dedication, familial devotion, and a deep-rooted passion for law. Raised in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, as the youngest among her siblings, she embarked on her legal career after completing her secondary education. Joining a local attorneys firm marked the beginning of her professional odyssey, coinciding with the start of her own family life. In 2007, she achieved a significant milestone by obtaining her Bachelor of Laws degree, followed by a formative two-year articling period at a general practice law firm.
Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 2010, Liza’s legal journey took her through various avenues, culminating in her own private practice from January 2011 to January 2019. However, her commitment to legal excellence led her to diversify her experience, transitioning to an in-house legal counsel role at a Revenue Enhancement Company. Throughout her career, family law held a special place in her professional portfolio, sparking her enduring fascination and dedication to this specialized domain.
Beyond her legal endeavors, Liza finds solace and fulfillment in family moments and personal pursuits. Whether embarking on adventures with her loved ones or immersing herself in the pages of a captivating book during leisure moments, she cherishes the balance between professional rigor and personal enrichment, embodying a holistic approach to both work and life.
